Our Terms & Conditions Explained

• All payments are to be made before the time of the driving lesson, unless otherwise agreed with the instructor. Forms of payments can be cash, bank transfer or vouchers. Wayne’s School of Motoring does not accept cheques as a form of payment. 
• All lessons will be charged at 100% of lesson cost if cancelled less than 24hr before the lesson and 50% of the charge if less than 48hrs and no charge to be incurred if done more than 48hrs prior to your lesson.  
• All cancellations or changes must be telephoned directly to your instructor. 
• Under no circumstances will any abuse will be tolerated verbal or physical to any of our instructors and if this occurs the lesson will be terminated with no refunds given. No offensive language or actions will be tolerated.  
• The driving instructor will be allowing a 15min window waiting time from when the lesson was due to start. Anything after 15mins will be considered a cancellation and full payment will be required.  
• If a driving instructor is running late over 15mins they will call to rearrange a time for your lesson and a free lesson will be given if no phone call is made or rearrangement has been agreed.  
• If your regular driving instructor is sick on the day of your lesson, they will inform you via text or phone call and another driving instructor can be provided if needed and where possible.  
• The day of your practical driving test we will require a 1 to 2 hour lesson prior to your test and your instructor will be waiting for you at the test centre whilst you are out with the driving examiner unless they are accompanying you in the vehicle. 
• Driving tests must be approved by the driving instructor prior to booking to ensure they can provide the best service possible.
• If for whatever reason either the student and/or driving instructor find they are not able to work together then the student and instructor must communicate with each to arrange the refund of any vouchers or block bookings that have not been used completely and any remaining hours to be agreed and refunded by the driving instructor. Vouchers and prepaid lessons must also be used within the validity period which is twelve months from date of purchase.  
• Your lesson begins at the time arranged if you are late this is still part of the lesson time. However, if the driving instructor is late you will have your full allotted time for your lesson.  
• If there is a grievance between the student and the instructor head office will be have to be notified immediately and any actions will be taken and communicated throughout. 
• The lesson will be terminated if the instructor deems the student to be driving in an unsafe manner for the safety of the student, instructor and general public. If the lesson is terminated due to this the lesson will be charged at 100% of the rate agreed.  
• Students MUST never be intoxicated through alcohol or drugs while driving a vehicle. If the lesson is cancelled due to intoxication a 100% charge will be incurred for the lesson, and any bulk bookings will be kept and the student will no longer be able to use Wayne’s School Motoring as their driving school.   
• Your driving lessons are to be a safe environment with no distractions so therefore the use of mobile phones are strictly prohibited. Mobile phones should be put to silent during a lesson. Radios can be used if the student feels this will help with any anxiety or nervousness, however the volume MUST remain at a sensible level to enable teaching to take place safely. 
• Personal hygiene is of the upmost important. Health and hygiene will be within government guidelines.
